SLG Publishing has announced the next class in their workshop series for comic book creators. The upcoming class, “Comic Book Writing: From Idea to Finished Product,” will be taught by Serena Valentio, known for the SLG comics Gloomcookie and Nightmares & Fairy Tales.

In the four-week class, Valentino will assist students on how to develop initial ideas into a final finished script as well as a proposal. Subjects that will be covered include “writing and thinking in images”, “doing your research”, “writing for yourself and an artist”, and many other topics. The final session will include a critique of each participant’s project.

The first session is 1:00 – 4:00 PM, Satudary, April 11 with sessions on each Satuday through May 9. The classes are conducted on the SLG Publishing Compound at 577 S.
